Abstract
Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the pedagogic competence of the teachers of SDN Mangunsari 01, describing the empowerment of teacher pedagogical competencies at SDN Mangunsari 01, and describing the obstacles faced by schools in empowering teacher pedagogical competencies This study uses qualitative methods with phenomenological research designs. Data obtained from the results of direct interviews with speakers, observations carried out directly, focused, selective and documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out with interactive analysis models The results of this study showed that (1) teacher’s pedagogical competence of SDN Mangunsari 01 is optimal on aspects of mastering the characteristics of students, curriculum development, development of student potential and some part need to be optimized in the aspects of mastering learning theory and the principles of educational learning, educational learning, communication with students, evaluation and assessment. (2) Empowerment of teacher pedagogical competencies is carried out by compiling the PTK preparation. (3) the problem faced in empowering teacher pedagogical competencies are limited funds, lack of teacher’s ability to operate TIK and facilities Keywords: pedagogical competence, empowerment
