Abstract

Sangkrah Community Health Center is one of the puskesmas that has underweight for under-fives at 2.50%, while the prevalence of stunting (short and very short) for under-five children is 4.91%. Shows that the motivator is one of the parties that plays an important role in improving the mother support group program. This study aims to analyze the relationship between motivator support (emotional support, instrumental support, information support, appreciation support) with the motivation of participants in the Sangkrah Community Health Center support group. This study uses quantitative analytical design with cross sectional approach. The population in this study was 202 and a sample of 100 respondents was taken using Proportional Random Sampling techniques. Data collection was done by questionnaire and data analysis using Chi Square. The results showed that there was a relationship between emotional support and participants' motivation (p = 0.016), instrumental support with participants' motivation (p = 0.000), information support with participants' motivation (p = 0.004). And there is no relationship between award support and participant motivation. Suggestions that can be used by the Sangkrah Health Center are to hold training for cadres on a regular basis so that more knowledge is obtained. So that cadres have a lot of material to be conveyed to participants.
