Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) parental informational support to learning motivation of economic lesson, (2) learning facilities to learning motivation of economic lesson, (3) parental informational support and learning facilities to learning motivation of economic lesson. This study uses associative quantitative methods. The population in this study is students of class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Mojolaban of 2018/2019 school year which amounted to 169 students who took 114 students as samples. The sampling technique uses the Simple Random Sampling technique, where this sampling is simple and carried out using lotteries because the population is considered the same. Data collection uses the method of documentation and questionnaires. Prerequisite test for data analysis included normality test, linearity test, multicolinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, and autocorrelation test. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis, t test, F test, R2 test, and relative and effective contributions. The results of the regression analysis obtained a regression equation Y = 32,727 + 0,762X1 + 0,426X2. The conclusion is (1) Parental informational support has a significant effect on learning motivation. This is based on the t test known that tcount = 6.970 > ttable 1.982 at a significant level of 5% with a relative contribution of 68.1% and an effective contribution of 38.27%. (2) Learning facilities have a significant effect on learning motivation. This is based on the t test known that tcount = 3.817 > ttable = 1.982 at a significant level of 5% with a relative contribution of 31.9% and an effective contribution of 17.93%. (3) Parental informational support and learning facilities together have a significant effect on learning motivation. This is based on the F test known that Fcount = 71,241 > Ftable = 3,078 at a significant level of 5%. (4) The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.562 shows that the magnitude of the influence of parents informational support and learning facilities on learning motivation is equal to 56.2% while the rest is influenced by other variables.
