Abstract
This research has two goals to be achieved. (1) Describe the form and function of imperative speech act in the series Adit Sopo Jarwo. (2) Describe the form of alternative teaching materials in the analysis of expressive speech acts in Adit Sopo Jarwo series. This research includes descriptive research with qualitative method of observation and review of animated series, using inductive data analysis, that is drawing conclusions from the data that is special. The results of this study found two things. (1) This study found 42 conversations containing imperative speech acts. Consists of 13 ordinary imperative speech acts. 13 imperative speech acts. 6 imperative invitation speech acts. 8 imperative request speech acts. 2 imperative speech acts granting permission. (2) The imperative speech act can be taught by the Indonesian teacher at high school level in general Indonesian subjects class X KD 3.7, KD 4.7 3.14, KD 4.14, while class IX in KD 3.8 and KD 4.8. Indonesian subjects specialize in class X in KD 3.2, while class XI in KD is 3.6, KD 3.7, KD 4.7, KD 3.8, and KD 4.8.
