Abstract

The objectives of the research is to (1) describe the planning of students’ coaching activities based on quality management system ISO 9001:2008 in SMK N 1 Wonogiri (2) describe the application of students’ coaching activities (3) describe the factors that support and also obstruct the application. The method of the research are qualitative research using ethnography approach, the data collecting are from documentation, observation and interview. The data was analyzed based on data collecting, and data reduction. The providing data are from note of description and reflection. The result of the research are (1) the planning of students’ coaching activities based on quality management system ISO 9001:2008 in SMK N 1 Wonogiri has been based on several step, there are : planning, organization, coaching, controlling and supervising. (2) The application of students’ coaching activities based on quality management system ISO 9001:2008 in SMK N 1 Wonogiri are as follows : the enrollment of new students, the safety and orderly of students, and extracurricular activities. (3) There are some factors that support the students’ coaching activities, for example: SMK N 1 Wonogiri has good human resources, the excellent mentors and the high motivated students, and good infrastructure, cost to fulfill the students activities and the supporting parents. There are also some threats, the lack of coordination and communication between the students’ vice principal and staff.
