Abstract

This study is aimed to determine: 1) The effect of learning patterns on student’s activity in learning process of Accounting Education Department students. School of Teacher Training and Education, UMS of 2015/2016, 2) The effect of learning frequency on student’s activity in the accounting system learning process on Accounting Education Department students, School of Teacher Training and Education, UMS 2015/2016, and 3) The influence of learning pattern and learning frequency on student’s activity in Accounting Education Department students. School of Teacher Training and Education,UMS of 2015/2016 . This study used associative quantitative method. The population in this study was students of the 2015/2016 Accounting Education Department, which included 115 students. The sampling technique used Proportional Random Sampling, and the respondent was 84 people. The data are collected by documentation and questionnaires that have been tested by validity and reliability testing. The dataare analyzed by multiple linear regression technique, F test, t test, R2 test, and relative and effective donations. The study found regression analysis equation: Y = 7,252+ 0,277X1 + 0,138X2. The conclusions of this study are: 1) The learning pattern has a significant effect on student’s activity in the learning process in Accounting Education Department students. School of Teacher Training and Education, UMS 2015/2016. Based on the t test, the study found tcount>ttable is 5,000> 1,990 (α = 5%) and the significance value <0,05 is 0,002. 2) Learning frequency has a significant effect on the student’s activity in the learning process of Accounting Education Department students. School of Teacher Training and Education, UMS 2015/2016. Based on the t test, the study found t count> t table is 3.948> 1.990 (α = 5%) and the significance value <0.05 is 0.002. 3) Learning patterns and learning frequency have a significant effect on student’s activity in learning process ofAccounting Education Department students. School of Teacher Training and Education, UMS 2015/2016. Based on the F test, the study found Fcount>Ftable is 42.253> 3.109 at a significance level of 5%. 4) Variable X1 gives relative contribution of 42.3% and effective contribution of 21.62%, variable X2 gives relative contribution of 57.7% and effective contribution of 29.52%. 5) The result of R2 calculation is 0.511, it mens 51.1% of student’s activity in learning process is influenced by learning patterns and learning frequency, the remaining 48.9% is influenced by variables outside of research.
