Abstract
There are two research objectives, (1) analyzing even UAS mathematical questions which included cognitive aspects, and (2) analyzing the percentage of even UAS mathematics questions which included the types of cognitive aspects of low, medium and high levels. This type of research is based on descriptive qualitative approach. objects were about UAS even class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Karangmalang. Data collection techniques used include interviews and documentation. To guarantee the validity of the data, triagulation is used (methods and data sources). Data analysis technique is done through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that the percentage of cognitive aspects of even semester's final exam math problems was the aspect of remembering (C1) 2,5%, understanding aspect (C2) 65%, application aspect (C3) 22,5%, analyzing aspect (C4) 10%, there is no evaluation aspect (C5), and creativity aspect (C6). Percentage of even semester final exam subject matter including low cognitive aspect type is 67,5% for C1 and C2, medium cognitive aspects are 32,5% for C3 and C4 ,and aspect types high cognitive that is 0% for C5 dan C6.
