Abstract

This research aim to(1) describe the headmaster role as the leader to improve the teacher's pedagogic competence(2) describe the constraints faced by the headmaster in improving teacher's pedagogic competence(3)describe the solution used by the headmaster in improving the teacher's pedagogic competence.This research was a qualitative research. Data collection techniques were using interview, observation, and documentation. Data validities that used were data triangulation and source triangulation. Based on the data analysis, It could be concluded that(1) KKG, workshop and seminar could improve the teacher's pedagogic competence, (2) constraints faced by the teachers came from the teacher themselves and crashed with working hours(3) solutions used by the headmaster was to give an encouragement, motivation, support and trying to take over the deserted class.
