Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine whether the learning model of visionary SETS can improve the character of students concerned about the environment of learning science grade V SD Negeri 2 Klewor. This is classroom action research. This data analysis used qualitative and quantitatve techniques. The methods used in this research are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of the improvement in the character of environmental concerns learning science grade V SD Negeri 2 Klewor on cycle I obtained by observation results of 64% in the category enough and the questionnaire of 68.8595% of students in the category seen in running the character of environmental care. After the improvement to increase the character, in cycle II the average improvement percentage in the natural character of the science learning environment increases again to 80% observation in both category and the result of the questionnaire is 78,10% in very visible category. Through SETS vision learning model. Thus the use of SETS learning model can improve the character of students concerned with environment class V SD Negeri 2 Klewor Academic Year 2017/2018.
