Abstract

Vinta Rahayu Wahyuning/A520140069. THE RELATIONSHIP OF PARENTING WITH KINDERGARTEN B INTERPERSONAL INTELLIGENCE IN SUKOHARJO, TAWANGSARI YEAR 2018. Thesis. Faculty Of Teacher Training and Education. University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. In July, 2018. This research aims to know the relationship of democratic parenting parents with kindergarten B interpersonal intelligence in Sukoharjo, Tawangsari. The research design is descriptive correlational. The population in this research were 459 children from 23 kindergartens. A sample of 82 children, taken by using proportional random sampling area. Parenting Data and interpersonal intelligence obtained through questionnaire given to parents. Data were analyzed using correlation and simple regression analysis. Based on the calculation of correlation analysis obtained correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.355, which means there is low positive correlation, and the level of significance 0.001 < 0.05 so Ho is rejected. Based on these results it can be seen that there is positive significant relationship between parenting (democratic) with interpersonal intelligence of children. Based on simple linear regression analysis obtained the effective contribution of 12.6%.
