Abstract

Teacher Training of Education. Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, August, 2018. This research was done to improve children’s confidence. The less confidence on children may cause learning process less effective. This problem this research was how to improve the confidence on children. The aim of this research is to improve children’s confidence through card game on group B at TK DesaSingopuran 1 Kartasura in academic year at 2017/2018. The research was a classroom action research if consisted of two cycles. Each cycles was done the research was2 meatings had four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection.The subjects of this research ware18 students of group B TK Desa Singopuran 1 Kartasura. The result of this research stated that story telling by using story books could imrpove children’s confidence. The improvements of percentage from beginning until cycles 2 werepra cycles 26,52%, cycles one 28,61% and cycle two 36,25%. The conclusion of this research was that there was an improvement of confidence through story book of group B at TK Desa Singopuran 1 Kartasura.
