Abstract

Scientific attitudes is a process of learning that is oriented towards the process of science. This study aims to find out how much scientific attitudes possessed / embedded in biology lab students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta Lesson Year 2017/2018. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with observation and questionnaire data taking, by observing students' scientific attitude at the time of practicum and by survey questionnaires in class XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2. The population used in this research is the students of grade XI IPA 1 and XI IPA 2 semester 2 with total 63 students, and conducted in biology laboratory of SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta from March to May. Aspects used in data retrieval are curiosity, critical thinking, respect for data / facts, open-minded attitudes and can work with others and the attitude of discovery and creativity. Based on the research conducted, showing the scientific attitude of science students of SMA Negeri 2 Surakarta 2nd semester of the academic year 2017/2018 based on observation results obtained value of 71.735 while the questionnaire obtained a value of 65.51.
