Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of infectious diseases that cause high mortality in 2015 around the world., where Indonesia had the biggest incident after India. Both Indonesian government and non-government organization have been making serious efforts to control TB disease. One of health care non-government organizations called Community TB Care ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta participates to eliminate TB disease in Surakarta city, Indonesia. Cadre of Community TB Care ‘Aisyiyah Surakartais a volunteer worker who find TB suspects in Surakarta and lead them to take TB test. The cadresparticipate on training and receive some money as incentive and awards when they egressiony find TB suspet. This research aimed to understand cadre performance factor (participation, award, age and work) of Community TB Care ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta on finding TB suspect. The research applied kohort retrospektif design and used egression test and Mann-Whitney test. The sample and population of this study were 52 cadres who were all cadres of Community TB Care ‘Aisyiyah Surakarta. The result showed that participation and award have positive influence toward TB suspect finding (p<0.25 ; RR>1). The more cadre participate on finding TB suspect, the more TB suspects are found. The award is likely becoming a motivation for cadres of Community TB care ‘Aisyiyah to find more TB suspects.
