Abstract

Innovation of learning based on natural environment on the subjects of Bahasa Indonesia is to learn directly with the natural environment around. This study aims to (1) describe the forms of learning innovation with natural use in SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari; (2) describe the implementation of natural environment based learning innovation on Indonesian Language subjects in SD Muhammadiyah Alam Surya Mentari; (3) Describe the constraints and solutions faced by teachers in the implementation of learning. This research type is qualitative research of this research design is case study approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity test of data is using triangulation. Data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research are (1) the forms of learning innovation with the utilization of nature are learning directly with nature, outbound, and play; (2) implementation of natural environment-based learning innovation on Indonesian Language subjects have 3 stages, namely: a) planning, b) implementation, and c) evaluation; (3) constraints faced by teachers, such us there are students who do not like dirty, unfavorable weather, limited land, and teachers difficult on conditioning students in the learning process. The solution used are to keep the students to participate by giving understanding how the importance of direct learning with nature, preparing backup strategy, method, and learning media, utilizing the existing natural environment as much as possible, giving the territorial boundaries and assigning tasks to the head of the class to noting that there are students who violate the rules of the teacher
