Abstract

This study has three aims: (1) describe the types of teaching materials of poetry in Bahasa Indonesia textbooks, (2) to describe the suitability of the type of teaching materials with main competence (KI) in the curriculum of 2013 (3) to describe the suitability of the type of teaching materials with basic competence (KD ) in the curriculum of 2013. This research is qualitative-descriptive. The data in this research are words, phrases, sentences, and stanzas contained in textbooks and competencies in the curriculum 2013. The data sources are three Indonesian textbooks, there are Bahasa Indonesia Ekspresi Diri dan Akademik for SMA / MA / SMK / MAK 10th grade (M.Rapi Tang, dkk), Bahasa Indonesia Edisi Revisi 2016 for SMA / MA / SMK / MAK 10th grade (Suherli, et al), and Bahasa Indonesia Kebanggaan Bangsaku for SMA. The data were collected by documentation study technique. Data validity techniques used triangulation of data and theory. The technique of this research analysis is content analysis (content analysis). The results of this study are as follows: (1) The types of poetry learning materials in the Indonesian textbooks of class X code A, B, and C include cognitive aspect teaching materials, affective aspect teaching materials, and psychomotoric aspect teaching materials. Cognitive aspect teaching materials include facts, concepts, and procedures. The types of affective teaching materials include the aspects of acceptance (appreciation), and the judgments are both questions relating to behaviors that show the value of the character of responsibility, honesty, care, courtesy, tolerance, independence, and peace. Psychomotoric teaching materials include aspects of speaking, writing, reading, listening in the form of tasks to cultivate, reason, and recite poetic texts. (2) All teaching materials in the textbook is relevant to KI. (3) There is a teaching material on the textbook that does not correspond to KD.
