Abstract
This researcher is aimed at describing the implementation of English teaching and learning. Specifically it is to describe the material, the media and the techniques implemented by the teacher. In addition, it is to describe the problem faced by the teacher in SDN 2 Dempet Demak. This research is a qualitative research. The data are taken from observation, interview and documentation analysis. The subjects of the study are the English teacher and the students at SDN 2 Dempet Demak in 2008/2009 year. The object of the study is English teaching learning process in SDN 2 Dempet Demak. This study shows that 1) the material given are vocabulary, reading, speaking and listening that related with theme, 2) the media used by the teacher are picture and puzzle, 3) the techniques implemented are picture and puzzle.. 2) The problems faced by teacher in teaching English are big class, different capability of the student, and unstable motivation of the students.
