Abstract

National examination is a national and intermediate basic education evaluation system and quality education equation among regions. The national examination itself gives effect to the students in how to learn to face the national exam. Each student in facing the exam itself is different, there are students who face it seriously and there are also those who deal with it casually. This research was conducted to find out how big the readiness of Smp N 1 Mojolaban students in facing national examination, the author here design a prediction system of readiness of smp students in facing national web-based test, using data mining technique with naïve bayes method. The naïve bayes method is applied to find the greatest probability of a predetermined variable including the values of IPA, the Mathematics score, the Indonesian language score, and the English score to know ready and less ready for the national exam. The result of this study is a system that helps admins from the school to know the readiness of students infacing the national exam. So that can make a consideration of the schoolto increase students interest in learning. Keywords: analysis, evaluation system, naïve bayes, national exam
