Abstract
Training and Education.Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. July. 2018. This study aimed to determine the increase in gross motor abilities in children at group B in TK Pertiwi Kedungupit Sragen of the Academic Year of 2017/2018 through the game message chain. This research was a classroom action research (PTK). Subjects in this study were students of group B in TK Pertiwi Kedungupit Sragen regencyin the academic year of 2017/2018. This study was conducted in two cycles in four meetings. The procedure of this study were four stages, i.e planning, implementation, observation or observation, and reflection. Gross motor ability data of children collected by observation, interview and documentation method. This research use triangulation method by searching data from various data sources. Based on the results of cycle I and actions that had been implemented, it showed that improvement in motor skills of students in group B in TK Pertiwi Kedungupit Sragen. Before the implementation of the cycle, the result of the children was 40.83%, the first cycle reached 66.60% and the second cycle reached 85.90%. The was conclusion of this research was that through body movement and song activities could increase motor ability in children of group B at TK Pertiwi Kedungupit Sragen.
