Abstract

Humans are social beings, so the behavior and discipline they have is a reflection of the surrounding environment, as well as in elementary school age children. Personality and discipline that is formed in children is influenced by social environment, be it family environment, school, and society and is based on various factors of social interaction. In this study, the authors found elementary school age children whose behavior and discipline were strongly influenced by the social environment. The purpose of this research is to know and analyze the existence of social environment role to form behavior and discipline of elementary school age children in Jelok Village Cepogo Sub-District, Boyolali Regency". The method used in this research is Ethnography, because it relates to society and social, and to know how big influence of social environment to the formation of behavior and discipline of elementary school age children. The important results obtained in this study are elementary school children who are in different social environments, have different behaviors and discipline, the behavior of children is also different when at home and at school. The conclusions obtained by the authors are different social environments to form behavior and discipline are different because the social environment plays an important role in the formation of the behavior and discipline of primary school age children
