Abstract
Abstract The purpose of the study, (1) examining the contribution of mathematical disposition and mathematical reasoning ability toward mathematic learning outcomes indirectly through the level of student activity, (2) examining the contribution of mathematical disposition and the ability of mathematical reasoning to the level of activity and (3) examining the contribution of the level of activity toward mathematics learning outcomes. The research used quantitative approach. The research population is 207 students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. The sample of 67 students is determined by solvin formula. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques with questionnaires and test questions and documentation. Data analysis technique using path analysis. The results of the study, (1) mathematical disposition and mathematical reasoning ability contributed simultaneously to mathematics learning outcomes through the activeness level of 25.7% with (α = 0.05), (2) mathematical disposition and mathematical reasoning ability contribute simultaneously to the level of activity of 17.4% (α = 0.05). (3) the level of liveliness contributes to the mathematics learning outcome of 6.86%.
