Abstract

IMPROVING CHILD’S FINE MOTOR SKILL THROUGH AIRBRUSH TECHNIQUE GAME FOR GROUP A OF TK PERTIWI 2 JETIS JATEN KARANGANYAR IN 2017/2018 Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Universitas Muammadiyah Surakarta. July, 2018. In improving child’s fine motor skill, learning and playing whic small muscle is needed in order to stimulate child’s fine motor skill to grow optimally, one of several methods that can be used is by applying simple airbrush technique game using tools and media around children. This research aimed to improve child’s fine motor skill through simple airbrush technique game for group A of TK Pertiwi 2 Jetis Jaten Karanganyar in 2017/2018. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) with 2 cycle research design for 2 meetings. The subject of this research was students of group A in TK Pertiwi 2 Jetis Jaten Karanganyar which was consisted of 15 children. Technique of collecting data in this research was by doing observation which was recorded in the observation sheet and documentation. Data validity of this research is drawn by triangulation technique. Data analysis of this research was classroom action research in the form scoring and counting achievement percentage. Based on the result of conducted PTK through pre-cycle, cycle I and cycle II, it can be concluded that simple airbrush technique game could improve child’s fine motor skill in group A of TK Pertiwi 2 Jetis Jaten Karanganyar in 2017/2018 academic year. It could be seen from the increase of percentage: in pre-cycle 40%, cycle I 60%, and cycle II 86,7%. Keywords: Airbrush technique, fine motor skill
