Abstract

Performance in a company is very important for success in a company. This study aims to measure performance in technical efficiency, to determine the efficiency comparison between branches of PT. Pos Indonesia in Sukoharjo district is done by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method. Measurement of efficiency using multi input and output is expected to measure and know the performance comparison between branches. PT. Pos Indonesia is said to have an efficient performance if it has a efficiency score of 1 or 100% and is said to be more inefficient when approaching 0. The measurement of technical efficiency in this study was carried out at ten branch post offices in Sukoharjo district, with one post office as examiner. Input used in this research is the number of labor, the number of motorcycles, internet network, the area of delivery, the building area and office status. While the output is the number of letters and financial services. The results of the analysis using DEA indicate that there are three branch offices including post office inspectors whose performance is efficient, while the other seven post offices achieve inefficient performance.
