Abstract
The purpose of this research was to understand and describe how self-regulated learning done by students in SMAIT Tahfidzul Quran Boarding School. This research involved 137 informants chosen by purposive sampling technique based on a characteristic that determined by the researcher. The informants are from gradeX-XII students who have or have not complete their recitation target. This research is qualitative research using the open questionnaire as data collection and analyzed by the narrative-descriptive method.The result of the research showed that Self-Regulated Learning done by the students are different at the level of grade that is being pursued, in class X, learners use more learning strategies with group learning, not much different from class X, in class XI lesson strategy used is still much use group study, different from class XII level, that is self study began to be widely used. In the process of memorizing the Qur'an, the strategies used by each learner at the classroom level are not much different, more learners in this tahfidz hut memorize with repetitive reading strategies of verses that will be memorized and understand the meaning or meaning of the verse. Factors influenced SRL towards students at TahfidzulQuran Boarding School such as the emergence of a sense of lazy, homesick, bored, and others are categorized in internal factors, as well as external factors such as, inadequate facilities, solid activities and teachers or ustadz -ustadzah tahfidz which is difficult to understand when teaching.
