Abstract

The aims of the research are (1) to understand the effectiveness of writing skill by using trigonal pencil media to the II grade students in MIN Dibal Ngemplak Boyolali, (2) to understand the level of change of students’ writing skill in indonesian learning by using trigonal pencil media, (3) to understand the influence of trigonal pencil media usage on the improvement of students’ writing skill to the II grade students in MIN Dibal Ngemplak Boyolali, (4) to understand the difference of the improvement students’ writing skill to the experiment and control class significantly. The type of this research is quasi experimental design. This research was conducted by giving a treatment to the experimental group and providing the control group as a comparison. The design which is used in this research is pretest-posttest control group design. The design consists of two groups that each group have given pretest and posttest then also has given a treatment by using trigonal pencil media and without trigonal pencil media. Based on the result of the research shows that: based on the calculation of independent statistic test analysis obtained that t = - 5,490 and p-value 0,000<0,05 so it can be concluded that 1) Media Pencil Trigonal effective to improve writing skill class II MIN Dibal Ngemplak Boyolali. 2) There is difference of students ability between students who get treatment using pencon trigonal media and students who are not given treatment using trigonal media pencil class II in MIN Dibal Ngemplak Boyolali. 3) There is influence of pencil trigonal media use to the improvement of writing ability of second grade students MIN Dibal Ngemplak Boyolali. 4) There is a significant difference in the students' writing ability in the experiment class and control class. It can be seen in the mean value of pretest control class = 79.12, the mean value of the control class postest 79.85 this there is an increase of 0.73. the average of the experimental class pretset of 70.86 and the experimental class postest 91.89 so that in the experimental class increased by 21.03.
