Abstract

This study aimed to describe the percentage of the on level low, middle and hot the students’ ability in problem solving PISA of content change and relationships. The research used was mixed method research. Subjects of this study is class VIII A SMPN 1 Puhpelem amounting to 21 students. The data collection technique used are methods of observation, test, interviews, and documentation. Data validation in this research using triangulation technique by comparing data from test method, interviews, and documentation to get the same result. Data analysis techniques is performed by stage data reduction, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The result of students’ ability of the first level is 28,33%, the second level is 23,33%, the third level is 18,33%, the fourth level is 11,67%, the fifth level is 16,67% and the sixth level is 1,67%. The result of this research can be conclude that the students’ ability in solving problems PISA of content change and relationships most of them can be reached at the first and second level or low level, it can be reviewed of the students’ ability in solving that problems.
