Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine: 1) To determine the effect of family communication on the learning outcomes of the learning results evaluation. 2) To know the effect of learning discipline on learning outcomes. 3) To know the influence of family communication and discipline of learning on the results of study subjects evaluation of accounting economics learning results on accounting education students at the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta academic year 2016/2017. This research includes the type of quantitative research with the conclusion through statistical analysis. Population in this research is all student of study program of accounting education at Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta academic year 2016/2017. Which follows the course of evaluation of the results of study of accounting economics. samples taken as many as 52 students with proportional sampling. Required data obtained through questionnaire and documentation. Questionnaire previously tested and tested validity and tested reliability. Data analysis techniques used are multiple linear regression analysis, F test, t test, and relative and effective contribution. The result of regression analysis obtained the regression line equation: Y = 26,492 + 0,431X1 + 0,734X2. Equations show that learning outcomes are influenced by family communication and learning discipline. The conclusions are: 1) Family communication has positive and significant effect on learning result. Based on t test, it is obtained t count> ttable, that is 4,755> 2,021 and probability value <0,05, that is 0.000. 2) Discipline learning has a positive and significant impact on learning outcomes. Based on t test obtained t count> ttable, that is 6,457> 2,093 and probability value <0,05, that is 0.000. 3) Family communication and discipline of learning together towards the learning outcomes. Based on result of test of significance of double linear regression (F test) known Fcount> Ftable, that is 32,011> 3,230 and significance value <0,05, that is 0.000. 4) Family communication variable contributes effectively 19,8%. The learning discipline variable contributes 36.8% effectively. so the total effective contribution of both variables is 56.6%, while the remaining 43.4% is influenced by other variables that are not studied.
