Abstract
ABSTRACT CRANIUM CAPACITY AND LEARNING CONCENTRATION POTENCY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT ON STUDENT CLASS VI OF MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH MUHAMMADIYAH GONILAN Morinda Daru Murti, Anika Candrasari Medicine Faculty of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta Background: Children are the next generation of the nation. Their future depends on the learning experience. Learning achievement is influenced by intelligence. Capacity of cranium describes the brain volume and intelligence of the child. The learning concentration potency also affects the ability of children to absorb learning materials. Purpose: This study aims to determine the relationship between the Cranium Capacity and Learning Concentration Potency Relationship with The Learning Achievement On Student Class VI of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Gonilan. Method: This research used cross sectional design. Samples were taken in total sampling method. Subjects were 46 students class VI MIM Gonilan. This research used a linear anthropometry to measure the cranium capacity and Concentration Grid Test to assess the concentration of learning. Data analyzed by Pearson test. Result: Pearson test result’s of cranium capacity and learning achievement p = 0.232. It means there is no significant relationship between cranium capacity and learning achievement while Pearson test of learning concentration potency and learning achievement p = 0,009 and r = 0,381. It means there is a weak relationship between the learning concentration potency and learning achievement. Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between cranium capacity and learning achievement and there is a significant correlation with between learning concentration potency and learning achievement of Student Class VI Madrsah Ibtidaiyah Muhammadiyah Gonilan.
