Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors that affect the unemployment rate in Central Java Province. Factors are inflation, minimum wage rates, government spending, investment, and migration. The method used in this research is quantitative method with time series data which is tested by using Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) method. Partial test is used t test and test of model goodness by using F-statistic test, where this test use application program Eviews. The result of this research is inflation have a significant positive effect on unemployment rate in Central Java Province with probability 0,0213, while minimum wage rate, government expenditure, investment and migration have no significant effect to unemployment rate in Central Java Province with each probability 0, 8656 (minimum wage rate), 0.2224 (government expenditure), 0.7428 (investment), and 0.3452 (migration).
