Abstract
The purpose of this research is to analyze and test (1) difference of mathematics learning result using problem posing and problem based learning strategy, (2) difference of mathematics learning result from creative thinking ability, (3) interaction between learning strategy and creative thinking ability of mathematics learning outcomes. Quantitative research type with quasi-experimental design. The study population of 9 classes and 2 class samples were taken by cluster random sampling by lottery. Data were collected with documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The technique of data analysis as a whole with the analysis of the variance of two different cell paths, with all prerequisite test fulfilled. The result of research with α = 5%, (1) there is difference of mathematics learning result from the use of problem posing strategy and problem based learning, (2) there is difference of mathematics learning result from creative thinking ability, (3) there is no interaction between learning strategy and creative thinking ability toward mathematics learning result.
