Abstract

Student are required to complete te skripsi in accordance wit the provisions of the faculty is six month. It is important to keep in mind that some student take twelve month’s, but it is possible tat some students can complete within six months. This study aims to understand and describe students self adjustment in the skripsi. This study uses a qualitative method. Informant six people taken using purposive sampling with characteristics: a) student graduated from psychology faculty university muhammadiyah Surakarta, b) completing skripsi six months, c) willing to be informant researcher. Results of data obtained tat each student hasa way to be able o make adjustments to by including te target to complete te skripsi. Of these target of course te student has obs tacles or constraints during the process of preparing a thesis that is a reference book, searcing national or international journal literature, difficulty meeting lecturers for guidance, having trouble processing sps data, difficulty in making guide interview, difficulty in finfing research informants and lack of understanding of lecturer’s explanation when revision. From obstacles or obstacles, student have a way to overcome tem by asking friends or seniors who have an understanding of skripsi. Looking for references in other university libraries, working quietly, disciplined and conscious with the target being made that ruqire timely completion.
