Abstract

ABSTRACT The leadership style adopted by an organization becomes a key to the success of the operation of the organization. Not the share of the number of comparisons of nurses with patients being treated may result in service quality and less documentation. But not all nurses are affected with a leadership style that is applied by the head space. The goal of research to figure out the image of the leadership style of head room in the hospital is a national sport. The design of the research field (field research) with descriptive design on all nurses who work in hospitals as much as 45 national sports people with total sampling techniques. Data analysis using descriptive analytic study with research results indicate that characteristics of the respondents mostly aged 30-40 years (64.4%), women-sex (60.0%), educated D3 (93.3%) and Nursing has working period between 2-5 years (80%) and leadership style that owned the head space of the average on the leadership style of the directive of 23.18 of consultative 16.71, participatory amounted to 21.29 and delegatif amounted to 17.64, meaning most style the leadership of the Chief owned space in the hospital belongs to the national sports leadership style diretif (51.5%).
