Abstract
The research aims are finding out the enhancement of language competence of group A students at Aisyiyah Kindergarten Trangsan I Gatak Sukoharjo by using flashcard as the media. This is a class action research (CAR) in which each cycle encompasses of four sub-cycles: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The participants were group A students of Aisyiyah Kindergarten in the Academic Year of 2016/2017, within the age of approximately 4 to 5. The data collection methods used were observation, interview and field notes. Based on the outcomes of cycle I and II, there were enhancements of language competence of group A students of Aisyiyah Kindergarten Trangsan I Gatak Sukoharjo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017. These were proved by the increasing of percentages students on language competence, 46% in cycle I and 79% in cycle II. The inference of the research was using flashcard as the media can enhance the language competence of group A students of Aisyiyah kindergarten of Trangsan I Gatak Sukoharjo in the Academic Year of 2016/2017.
