Abstract

The purpose of research this are: (1) To know the influence of Talking Stick and Snowball Throwing strategy toward student learning outcomes. (2) To know the influence of mathematical communication skills toward student learning aoutcomes. (3) To know the interaction between learning strategy and mathematical communication skills toward student learning outcomes. The type of the research is quantitaives research with quasi experinmental design. The population of the research is all of student eighth grade at SMP Negeri 3 Colomadu, the sample of research is VIII-E and VIII-F grades. The technique of collecting data with methods of testing, questionnaire, and documentation. The technique of analyzing data by using the unbalanced two-way analysis of variance. The finding of the research with α = 5%: (1) There is influence of Talking Stick and Snowball Throwing strategy toward student learning outcomes. (2) There is influence of mathematical communication skills toward student learning aoutcomes. (3) There is no efect interaction between learning strategy and mathematical communication skills toward student learning outcomes.
