Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure that builds the novel of the State in the Ujung Tanduk Karya Tere Liye, the social criticism contained in the novel Affairs of Tere Liye's End of Works, and the feasibility of the novel Affairs of Ujung Tanduk Tere Liye as a literary material in high school. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The approach used in this research is stuck case study. The object of his research is the social criticism contained in the novel Affairs of Tere Liye's Ujung Tanduk. The data in this study are the words, sentences, and discourses in the fabric of events contained in the novel Affairs of Tere Liye's Ujung Tyeuk. Technique of collecting data in this research is using technique of literature and technique of note. The technique of data validity in this research is using theoretical triangulation technique or theory. Data analysis techniques in this study using heuristic readings and hermeneutic readings. The results of this research are: 1) the structure that builds the novel of the State at Ujung Tanduk Karya Tere Liye, the theme in the novel Affairs of Ujung Tanduk namely political and legal life. The plot used in the novel Affairs of Ujung Tanduk is progressive progressive groove. Figures in the novel Affairs Ujung Tanduk ie Thomas, Theo, Maryam, Maggie, Opa Chan, Kadek, Lee, Kris, Rudi, Om Liem, JD, and Mr. Shinpei. Background time is happening pagia time, day, afternoon and night. The place setting in the Ujung Tanduk State novel is generally located domestically and abroad with several places such as Hong Kong, Macao, Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, KPK Building, Denpasar, and Kwi Tsing Container Port of Hong Kong. While the social setting in this novel takes the social background of the life of the fighters and businessmen.2) Social criticism found in Tere Liye's Tere Li Horn State novel covers: Politics, Economy, Culture, Defense of Security, Law. 3) The feasibility of the research result of Tere Liye's novel novel In Ujung Tanduk in Indonesian language learning in high school, which is implemented for grade 2 XII students in accordance with the 2013 curriculum in accordance with KD 3.1. Understand the structure and rules of the novel text both through oral and written, KD. 3.3. analyzing novel texts both through oral and written, and KD. 3.5. evaluating the novel text based on the rules both through oral and written. Teaching materials that can be made in this study there are 4, namely learning materials to read novels, read synopsis, analyze the novel structure, and analyze social criticism.
