Abstract
Teacher as professional educators are the main components that determine the success of an learners. A teacher must master the four competencies that includes pedagogical competence, personal competence, social competence and professional competence. PCK (Paedagogical Content Knowledge) is the knowledge that must be understood by a teacher. The purpose of this study is to determine the Pedagogical Content Knowledge capability of science teachers at seventh grade Junior High School in Ampel and Cepogo Boyolali District 2017/2018 academic year. The type of this research is desciptive. The sampling technique is purposive sampling study by taking three lesson plan to each teacher. Based on on the result, CK (Content Knowledge) capability of teachers at VII Junior High School in Ampel and Cepogo Boyolali District 2017/2018 academic year includes, the ability of deeping the material 46,7% (less good), the ability of material development 50.0% (less good), with the result that the average is 46,7% (less good),. The PK capability includes the ability to use the method 75,0% (good), the ability to use approach 53,88% (enough), the ability of the media’ selection capability of learning activities 75,0% (good), the ability to use various method 75,0% (good), the ability of the development 75,0% (good), the ability to draw up the evaluation tool suitable material 75,0% (good), the ability of the realm of electoral votes 100% (exellent), so the average is 78,3% (good). PCK capabilities which includes material suitable with strategy 80% (good), material suitable with media 90,0% (exellent), material suitable with evaluation 90,0% (exellent), so the average is 86,7% (exellent). Therefore, the ability of PCK capability of Science teachers at VII grade High School in Ampel and Cepogo Boyolali District 2017/2018 Academic Year including good.
