Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine whether there is a relationship between emotional maturity with aggressive driving on bus driver. The hypothesis is a negative correlation between emotional maturity with aggressive driving on bus driver. The subject of this research were 80 subject as bus driver taken from population of 500 bus driver based on amount of buses in each PO which is Eka, Mira and Sugeng Rahayu bus. Technic sampling in this study using acsidental sampling technic. Data collection method in this study using scale with spreading the questionnaire. Measure tool in this study using emotional maturity scale and aggressive driving scale. Data were analyzed using Pearson product moment correlation by SPSS 16.0. Correlation correlate (r) is -0,518 with sig. 0,000 (p<0,05). The result of the analysis of this research explain that hypothesis accepted so there is a negative relationship which is so significant between emotional maturity with aggressive driving. This result shows effective contribution of emotional maturity to aggressive driving is 26,8%. It means there are 73,2% of other variables besides emotional maturity that can influence aggressive driving of bus driver
