Abstract

Iwan Jadi Sugiarto / A410130067. Implementation of Performance Assessment in Mathematics Learning in Highlights Geometry Grade VIII Junior Mumammadiyah Al-Kauthar Special Program Academic Year 2016/2017. Essay. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. September, 2017. This research is aimed to describe the steps of assessment, implementation of assessment and constraints in the process of reviewing the performance of mathematics learning for Special Program at SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautsar Kartasura. This type of assessment is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of the research were 35 students of VIII ARF grade Special Program SMP Muhammadiyah Al-Kautasar Kartasura. The Technique of collecting the data is done by using observation method, and interview, test, archive or document. The valid data uses triangulation method by comparing the test result data with interview. The technique of analyzing data is done by three ways such as data reduction, data presentation, data verification and conclusion. Assessment indicator is divided into 3; tests, group activity sheets and daily behavior records. The result of the research which is used for the implementation including pre-test, group activity sheet, post-test and daily behavior record. With this indicator, teacher can see the progress of student from time to time continuously. The problems which are faced in this assessment are the estimation time, unauthentic answer from the students themselves and many numbers of students.
