Abstract
The major problem of this study is to reveal how struggle for gender stereotypes and prejudices is reflected in She’s The Man movie directed by Andy Fickman based feminism perspective. After analyzing this movie, the writer finds two objectives, the first is to analyze the play in term of structural elements of movie and second is to analyze the play based on Liberal Feminist Perspective. In analyzing the movie, the researcher uses qualitative study. There are two kinds of data source. The primarily data is the movie of She’s The Man, while the secondary data are books about feminist and also the other materials related to the study. The method of collecting data is purpose sampling by watching the movie carefully and then researcher took sample of dialogue and ellipse of picture of the movie then used it as a starting point to analyze the issue. The technique of data analysis is descriptive technique. The result of the research show that, first, structural elements of She’s The Man movie build good production. Second, there are four basic concept of liberal feminist in She’s The Man movie, they are women’s position, women’s role, women’s right, and women’s participation. In She’s The Man movie, the director wants to say that women are mistaken being regarded as weak and inferior.
