Abstract

Tourism is the largest industry and has shown significant growth from year to year. World tourism organization estimates that by 2020 there will be an increase of 200% of the number of tourists visit the world today. Indonesa an archipelago that has ethnic and cultural diversity, Indonesia also has abundant natural resources and it is an opportunity in Indonesia's tourism industry. Kopeng subdistrict, Semarang regency is one area that has a large enough tourism potential being at the foot of Mount Merbabu. Tourism sector in the offer is a typical view of the mountains, farms, ranches, waterfalls, water tours (rafting), and paragliding, and of course the culture of the people in the District Kopeng. Making the area a place of recreation accommodation facilities equipped with permanent education concept Green Architekture is one attempt pariwisat sector development in Indonesia. As a condition region primarily creative and recreational activities as well as provide education that can be utilized by the visitors in the tourist area Kopeng both local tourists and foreign tourists.
