Abstract

The aims of this research are to determine soft skill type and accounting development by accounting teacher and to know the inhibitors and supporters factors the development of students soft skill. The type of this research was qualitative ethnography approach. The object of this research was accounting teacher at SMK Muhammadiyah Delunggu and the tenth grade accounting students in SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu which consisted of 6 students. The result showed that there were seven soft skill aspects found at SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu, those are selfconfidence aspect, emotional intelligence, communication skills, time management, leadership, the ability of critical thinking and team work in one team that is developed by accounting teacher. As for the internalization through integrative and complementary model, integrative model known as the aspect of selfconfidence, emotional intelligence, communication skils, time management, leadership, and the ability of critical thinking and team work in one team. Whereas the complementary model for aspect of emotional intelligence and communication. The inhibitors factors were: 1) still lack of cooperation between students parents and school staf in associating students soft skill; 2) still lack of teacher competence in developing learning methods. Moreover, the suppporters factors were: 1) the amount of students in one class was relatively abit so that the internalization of soft skills value was more effective; 2) the number of supporters that was given to the students by headmaster, homeroom teacher, and all stafs at SMK Muhammadiiyah Delanggu.
