Abstract
The objectives of this research are: (1) to decribe the builder structure (both instrinsic and extrinsic), (2) to describe the social value in Semar Gugat play by Nano Riantiarno, (3) to spell out research data implementation from Semar Gugat play by Nano Riantiarno as Bahasa teaching material in senior high school. The object of is this research is the social value. Data obtained can be in from of dialogue oe conversation amon the characters in Semar Gugat play by Nano Riantiarno while the source of the secondary data is other articles releated to the play. Data collection technique used in this research is triagulation theory technique. Data analysis technique is using dialektic technic. The result of this reseach are, (1) the instrinsic and extrinsic structure of Semar Gugat play by Nano Riantiarno theme The arbitrariness of the ruler, Figures namely Semar, Gareng, Petruk, Bagong, Arjuna, Srikandi, Batari Durga, and Kalika. Groove forward, background ie aspect of space, time, and atmosphere. Aspects of space within Semar include the background of Karang Tumaritis (Rumah Semar), Kaputren Madukara (where Arjuna's wife is Sumbadra and Larasati), Amarta (Arjuna Kingdom), Simpang Bawana Tumaritis Asri (Karajaan Semar) and Balaiirung Istana Kahyangan. The time aspect describes the time of the incident, in the drama of Semar Gugat's drama there are four times of storytelling in one staging that is morning, noon, afternoon, and night. While the aspect of the atmosphere includes a magical atmosphere, sad, upset, and tense (2) the social value in Semar Gugat play by Nano Riantiarno, (3) this research can be implementes as Bahasa teaching material in senior high school grade XI odd semester of K13 curriculum with the basic cmpetencies 3.1 understand the structure and rules of short story text, verse, re-story, complex explanation, and film/ drama either throught oral and written.
