Abstract

Assessment is one of the important components in the implementation of the learning process. Assessment conducted by the teacher is used to monitor the process, learning progress and improvement of learning outcomes of continuous learners used to assess the achievement of competence learners by using measurement tools such as questions and observation sheet. This study aims to describe the teacher's understanding of applying the curriculum assessment of 2013, to describe teacher problems in applying the 2013 curriculum assessment, teacher constraints and the efforts of teachers in overcoming the problems of applying the 2013 curriculum assessment at SD Muhammadiyah 24 Surakarta. This type of research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation. Data were analyzed through data reduction measures, data presentation, and conclusions. Technique of examination of data validity is done by triangulation technique and source. The results of the research indicate that: (1) The teacher has comprehended the appraisal of the 2013 curriculum quite well, (2) The teacher has applied the assessment of curriculum 2013 (3) The problems faced by teachers in applying the curriculum assessment of 2013 are on attitude competence, knowledge competence and competency Skills (4) The efforts of teachers to overcome the problems in applying the curriculum assessment 2013 are the teacher asks the students to supervise other friends when outside the class, the teacher makes efforts to coaching on students who are less than achievement, teachers do croschek to match student answers And impose sanctions on dishonest students.
