Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the management of learning to read in current use, planning and designing the development of storybird based learning management, and test the effectiveness of the development of learning management storybird based reading class II SDN Tlogoharum 02 year 2016/2017. This research was conducted by the research and development of design models that include aspects analyze ADDIE analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Source of research data is the teachers and learners second grade of elementary school, and lecturers. The data were analyzed qualitatively interactive model. Results tested product validation prior to students from grade five teachers earned an average score of 2.98 grade teacher with a decent category tested with the revised terms with the rules, implementation, storybird and relevance of the material to the syllabus. An assessment of grade II SDN Tlogoharum 02 obtained an average score before using storybird ie 12.13 with category as many as 10 students, while the assessment results after using storybird gained an average of 16.78 with category as many as 20 students. The t test shows that there are differences between the pre-test and post test after usingthe learning model. Keywords: elementary school; reading; storybird.
