Abstract
This study aims to: (1) describe the characteristics of the principal in managing human resources (2) describe the characteristics of the principal in managing Infrastructures (3) describe the characteristics of the principal in managing the Fund in SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon Grobogan. This type of research is qualitative with research design using an ethnographic approach. The results of the study, (1) Characteristics of principals in managing human resources in SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon Grobogan. The principal’s characteristics in managing human resources visible from doing coaching and development, so that teachers are willing and able to develop competencies and professionalism and improving their achievements. Principal also concerned about the welfare of teachers and employees. The role of the principal is also realized by arranging school rules and develop a vision and mission together. So that it is able to develop the HR (human resources) quality to produce an increase in the quality of education in SMA N 1 Pulokulon. (2) Characteristics of principal in managing Infrastructures. School principal has more roles in the management of facilities and infrastructure in SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon Grobogan, based on priorities to fit the budgets of the schools. Then for the provision of basic infrastructure in SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon is a demand to the needs of the Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM). (3) Characteristics of principal in managing the Fund in SMA Negeri 1 Pulokulon Grobogan. Based on the survey of results revealed that the characteristics of the management of funds by the school principal is complicated, it can be concluded that the sources of income this school could come from government, independent business school, parents, business and industry, other sources such as grants that do not conflict with applicable legislation. The headmaster always principled, use grounding in the preparation angggaran management based on the transparency, accountability and effectiveness. The role of the principal is also making use of school finance can be the effectiveness and efficiency to improve the accountability and transparency of school finances and avoid the misuse of the school's budget.
