Abstract
The aims of this research are to describe: (1) the implementation of teaching mathematics process with ICM strategy to increase activeness and results of mathematics learning, (2) the process of improving activeness in learning mathematics after deals with learning strategies ICM, (3) the process of improving the results of learning mathematics after deals with ICM strategy. The type of this research is classroon action research. The subject of this research is Sapto Nugroho as mathematic's teacher and as the subject that gives the actions to the students of class VII B SMP N 1 Mojosongo 2015/2016 school year which amounted to 26 students as the subject is examined. The technique of data collection used observation,field note, test, and documentation. The method of technique anslysis datadivided into four stages which consists of data collection, data reduction, presentation of data and conclusions. The results of this classroom action research are: (1) there is an activeness increasre and results of mathematics learning after applied the strategy ICM; (2) emphasize student in asked from 3.85% to 23,08%, activeness answer from 7.69% to 34,62%, activeness worked from 15,38% become 30,77%, and activeness opinion from 0% to 23,08%; and (3) increase the results of mathematics learning from 38,46% become 92,31%.
