Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of motivation and compensation to job satisfaction, the influence of motivation, compensation and job satisfaction on employee performance, motivation influences on employee performance through job satisfaction, and the influence of compensation to employee performance through job satisfaction. As many as 80 of respondents servent Office DPPKAD in Karanganyar. Data analysis using regression methods and path analysis. The finds of the study 1) the motivation has no effect on employee job satisfaction; 2) compensation effect on employee job satisfaction; 3) motivation does not affect the performance of employees; 4) compensation effect on employee performance; 5) job satisfaction influence on employee performance; 6) the satisfaction of working relations not mediate motivation with employee performance; 7) the satisfaction of working relations not mediate compensation with employee performance.
