Abstract

Alfian Cahyaningrum / A510120065. SCOUT ACTIVITY EFFECT OF DISCIPLINE AND LEARN KARATE HIGH GRADE SDN Gebang 4 ACADEMIC YEAR 2015/2016. Essay. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. January, 2016. This study aims to determine the effect of the scouts to learn discipline, the influence of karate activities to learn discipline, the influence of scouting and karate discipline within the high grade students of SDN Gebang 4. This study was a descriptive quantitative research with a conclusion through statistical analysis. The study population was all students of high grade (IV, V, VI) SDN Gebang 4 totaling 86 students. The research sample using Systematic sampling as many as 43 students. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, the coefficient of determination, SR and SE are preceded by analysis prerequisite test is a test of normality and linearity test. Based on the analysis of multiple linear regression equation: Y = Y = 22.829 + 0,242X1 + 0,481X2. The results of the data analysis with a significance level of 5% was obtained: (1) kegaiatan scout effect on students' learning discipline. This is based on test t is known that tcount ˃ ttable, namely 2.021 and 2.908 ˃ ˂ significance value 0.05 is 0.006 with the relative contribution of 26.9963% and the effective contribution of 13.1472%. (2) The effect on discipline karate student learning. This is based on test t is known that tcount ˃ ttable, namely 2.021 and 25.066 ˃ ˂ significance value 0.05 is 0.000 with the relative contribution of 72.991% and the effective contribution of 35.547%. (3) The scouts and discipline karate influence on student learning. This is based on test F known that Fhitung ˃ Ftable is 18.951 ˃ significant value ˂ 3.23 and 0.05 is 0.000. Based on the calculation coefficient of determination is known that the influence of scouting and karate to discipline the students learn to contribute 48.7%, while 51.3% is influenced by other variables not examined.
