Abstract

Courtship problem can not be separated from the world of teenagers, because one of the characteristics of teenagers who stands out is a sense of fun to the opposite sex with a desire to have. At this time, a teenager usually begin a “crush” the opposite sex. Among adolescents, dating become very proud identity. Usually a teenager will be proud and confident if you already have a boyfriend / girlfriend. Instead teens who do not have a boyfriend / girlfriend considered less slang. One that affects the courtship behavior in teenagers is peer interaction. Adolescent interactions made with the environment, be it with a group of peers in their daily lives may be adversely affected. Negative interactions are built teenager with peer groups can bring teens involved in juvenile delinquency such as courtship. The aim in this study, namely: to determine the relationship between peer interaction with courtship behavior in adolescents. The hypothesis is a positive relationship between peer interaction with courtship behavior in adolescents. Subjects in this study were 132 adolescents, this study wore cluster random sampling study, that all groups in the population given the same opportunities to be sampled. Data collection tool in this research using the scale of peer interaction and courtship behavior. Data analysis techniques using the product moment correlation. The analysis results obtained from this study are: there is a very significant positive correlation between peer interaction with courtship behavior in adolescents. Effective contribution of peer interaction between the variables of the courtship behavior of 7.1%. Based on the results of analysis variables peer interactions have the empirical mean (RE) 88.42 and the mean hypothetical (RH) of 60 which means peer interaction on the subject is very high. Variable courtship behavior known empirical mean (RE) 93.20 and the mean hypothetical (RH) of 69 which means courtship behavior on the subject is high.
