Abstract
Background : Spastic cerebral palsy diplegi is weakness or disorder characterized by abnormalities in movement and posture that is not progressive as a result of injury to the central nervous system. This disorder occurs in the extremities, upper extremities which is lighter than the lower limb. Lower extremity (leg) will undergo hypertonus or stiffness in the muscles so that the movement becomes stiff. Objective : To determine the Neuro Senso Motor (NSM) management in the case of spastic cerebral palsy diplegi in Griya Fisioterapi Bunda Novy and find out if Neuro Senso Motor can be beneficial to the reduction of spasticity and improvement of gross motor skills and functional children with spastic cerebral palsy diplegi. Results : After treatment for 6 times the result a decrease in spasticity with Asworth scale, to hip flexor T1: 1 to T6: 1, hip extensor T1: 0 to T6: 0, knee flexor T1: 1 to T6: 1, knee extensor T1: 2 to T6: 1, ankle flexor T1: 2 to T6: 1, ankle extensor T1: 3 to T6: 2, increasing the ability of motor function and activities functional with GMFM, dimension A T1: 76.47% to T6: 80.39%, dimension B T1: 55% to T6: 60%, C-dimensional T1: 19.04% to T6: 28.57%. Conclusion : Neuro Senso Motor (NSM) is able to reduce the level of spasticity and improve gross motor function and functional in the case of spastic cerebral palsy diplegi.
