Abstract
Landslide susceptibility is a condition that indicates the level of potential for an area to experience landslides which is influenced by factors such as slope gradient, rainfall, soil type, geology, and land use. This study aims to analyze landslide susceptibility for determining shelter points in Petungkriyono District, Pekalongan Regency using a GIS (Geographic Information System)-based overlay method with ArcGIS 10.8 software. The data used include landslide occurrence data, DEMNAS Indonesia, RBI Indonesia, rainfall in 2014–2025, land use in 2025, distribution of disaster mitigation shelters, soil type, and geology of Petungkriyono District. The results of the study indicate that the level of landslide susceptibility in Petungkriyono District is dominated by high class with an area of 6930.5 Ha or 84.58%, medium class with an area of 1228.3 Ha or 14.99%, and low class with an area of 34.9 Ha or 0.43%. In general, every village in Petungkriyono District is characterized by high landslide vulnerability. Curugmuncar Village is the most vulnerable area, with a high vulnerability percentage reaching 96.68%. Disaster mitigation shelters are divided into four types: government, education, health, and worship shelters. There are three government shelters, 14 education shelters, one health shelter, and 27 worship shelters spread across all villages in Petungkriyono District.
